      US Member - 2 Years

      I recently received a Merc 900 that has the s/n 1851043. I cannot seem to find any info on the year of this motor. Can anyone help me identify this motor year?

        One year only 1965.
        your serial ## does not fall with a 900 range. things may have been changed over the years.

          Wow. Thank you Dave. Now I need to find a lower unit for it. Never worked on a Merc like this.
          Could be fun …. or?!?!?

              I took the s/n info off the motor so I am not sure how to respond the the s.n being out of range.
              The cover says 900 ( but I guess that don’t mean much)

                check on the block for serial ### cover my have been changed.
