Well i purchased a rebuild kit for this OMC fuel pump
But unfortunately for me it was the wrong one.
I tried using it anyways and it failed
Like a dummy I threw out all the old gaskets and such
I don’t know what motor it came from
The casting number is 312668
Is there any other information I can provide you to tell me the part number for the fuel pump rebuild kit I need?May 14, 2022 at 4:53 pm #259852Clicking on the P/N’s here will help choose one that matches. Me thinks it might be a 438616 or better yet a 393103 kit.
May 15, 2022 at 5:39 am #259872I also think it needs a 393103 kit.
Here is my best guess as to what the pump was originally from, or something close:
Long live American manufacturing!
May 15, 2022 at 8:46 am #259876lots of similar pumps on amazon this one is probably cheaper than kit ….for 9-15 hp but….

You have to look at both repair kits offered by BRP and Sierra. One style has the shoulder style pump and the other is sloped down without a shoulder. Both are still available. By looking at your picture, your pump has the shoulder so it should use the #393103 kit.
Hope this helps.
