      Hi, I recently acquired a Neptune 500 mighty mite  1.7hp but it is missing the carburettor and reed valve block. Has anyone on here successfully fitted an aftermarket carburettor on these motors that can guide me on what to get? I have read that tecumseh Hd25/HD30 carbs might be ok but would appreciate knowledge of people who have tried it. Thanks Scott

        Not knowing what Neptune 500 is, I did a search and recognized it right away so they must be pretty common. So why would be looking for an alternative?

        A "Boathouse Repair" is one thats done without having tools or the skills to do it properly.
