      Can’t find a replacement for a NOK 1.1 shaft oil seal. The seal measures 1/2"od 3/8"id 3/16"tall.

      I’ve tried numerous sources and they all say NO.

      What to do when a critical part is not available?

          Did you try National? Look at the size charts, call Federal-Mogul Tech in St. Louis ask for Steve if he is still there he will look for you.
          One tip I have found working with seals for 10 years is they might be the same color but they are not the same quality and fit.
          If trying to use a valve stem seal shy away from USA seals. You could look at Viton o-rings.
