      Hello all,

I have added a new page to the Wizard Outboard Site called How To’s. It features the reassembly of the saddle clamp on the early 3-5hp Wizard motors. A big thank-you the Louis Doering for his contribution as it wouldn’t been possible without him. I hope everyone finds it to be a useful tool when on working on one these motors. 😀

      Sincerely,

A couple up to date comments
                1) a more recent clamp to tower assembly job led to a refinement to technique…the spring once under pressure may be coaxed the rest of the way with a brisk tap from a hammer and punch….
                2) Jason needs to fumigate the Q & A section of his site. Removal of
                unrelated content is long overdue.

Note: as with all activity involving sprins WEAR EYE PROTECTION.

I always have to chuckle that Louis’s “work bench” always seems to look like a clothes dryer.
