No wonder i’m having issues with this carb!

This is from a 1967 Evinrude 3hp folder. Crazy! And the needle is stuck solidly in the seat.

I have never seen a float this out of adjustment.

I am finding the float pin is stuck too. Will have to clean it well and find a way to sneak it out of there in order to remove the float.

You could be in for more surprises depending on how many other things that person has “repaired” on the motor. Could the float be on up side down?

A "Boathouse Repair" is one thats done without having tools or the skills to do it properly.

The needle was so badly stuck in the seat that it broke with very little pulling. Time to replace. I have never seen a carb this dried and gunky.

It does look like to float is upside down.
