I am trying to find some steering parts for one of these engines that will be mounted to a little hydroplane. In particular, I am looking for the best way to connect cable/pulley steering. The conventional OMC steering adapter kit probably will not work well considering the tight dimensions inside the little boat. I’m thinking someone knows of/makes an external tie bar that is mounted below the powerhead allowing the steering cables to be connected there.
I went on the APBA website, but didn’t see any helpful advice or links, perhaps I did not look carefully enough.
