      Maybe someone can answer a question about a 90s omc . I have a 1995 70 hp outboard. Just found out low compression in two cylinders. I picked up a 1990 60 hp motor with great compression bad carbs. Can I swap the 70 hp power head with the 60hp?

        Yes. I’m uncertain if dressing it with your 70 carbs, etc. will result in a 70. May be some porting differences in the blocks. Not likely to see a huge seat of the pants difference if you leave it dressed as a 60. Worth trying, though.
