Paint match

Does anyone know of a duplicolor, rustoleum, or krylon paint color that would be a decent match for holiday bronze? I am swapping out a throttle arm that is blue. Thanks in advance.

Well, there are 3 different Holiday Bronze colors, depending on year. I have not found a close enough match for painting single parts, but even if you got the right paint, it probably won’t match either due to fading.

Well the motor is a cd14 which I believe is a ’57. I guess any holiday bronze is better than Evinrude blue.

I have used Duplicolor #BFM0344 Toreador red metalic. May not quite match but i have painted an 18hp 1957 Johnson with it with good results.

Yeah, that sounds familiar. I think that’s what I probably used.

I used that toreador red metallic on a hood recently also. To me It is a darker more purple color than holiday bronze but it does look nice.
