Well for what ever it is worth I paid $38 a gallon for this stuff, and my 104 year old Evinrude liked it at 40ish :1 ratio, so that is what prompted me to buy more..

What was that motor’s factory recommended ratio?

My Evinrude???? probably 8:1, but there are many mitigating factors as to WHY I run what I run.Like the fact I have completely rebuilt it with new bushings everywhere, all new shafts and the tolerances are much closer than original which I feel allows me to run like this..

You must be a BITOG follower. I don’t think the Group III, syn or not syn discussion will ever end. It bothers me too that there is so little MSDS info available on some brands.

If you are referring to me I have come across but am not a Bob Is The Oil Guy follower. I did fluid and lubrication research in my Engineering edu- and profession. But there certainly are lots of "IMO’s" out there and most flat wrong ❗ and not 😮 about that.

Agree on the secret crap of no MSDS on certain brands/products, top secret ‘BS’ 😡
