Anyone know about that informative diagram I am referring to? It’s a pretty interesting chart with pictures. Basically there are 4-5 pictures (if memory serves correct) of impellers and the damage getting worse the longer the time run dry.
For anyone at the Windsor, CT meet this year, we all watched some guy take his boat out and let his motor run dry for about 2 minutes straight. Everyone at the meet stopped what they were doing, and started shaking their heads.
Yes, I was the one who sarcastically said "I hope you know how to change impellers!"
This was NOT an AOMCI member, just some random person trailering their aluminum boat.
