      My buddy in a different state has a 1995 Evinrude 15 hp E15ELEOD .He says the top of the carb is plastic and warped.Is there entirely metal carb from another model engine that would work? He does not want to fix this carb

        Well, the carbs from the older styles 15hps won’t fit properly, so I wouldn’t attempt to make that swap. Yes, those carbs have cheesy plastic covers, but a replacement cover should work OK, there were only problems with the original 93 models, the 95 models should be fine.
