Can’t lay my hands on either, but both Old Outboard and AOMCI mag have featured Portage motors.

I’ll have to look in the Outboarder Archives and see if Portage is mentioned,
and if there’s more on the Hartford outboard.

Peter Hunn’s outboard book has info, Portage is basically a badge motor from Neptune/Muncie, Hartford became Indian outboards
