Bronze prop bit off more than it could chew…is it worth while to have repaired?
Would appreciate comments from those who know.
prop is a Michigan Wheel K32
A KF7 KG7 Mercury specific prop that has internal teeth to mesh with fiber and stainless steel disc set up.
Thanks

they are hard to get. with that said they can be repaired. don’t throw it away. give or sell it IF you don’t repair it. Dave McKinney does good work. 1 706 319 1960 is his ########

Where I worked, the prop shop sent their guy every week to pick-up & deliver. That brass prop would come back repaired, polished, and looking like brand new. Heck yes, worth it. Likewise, aluminum props, but once the paint is knocked off you can see the repair. Actually, the repaired area is stronger than the original aluminum.
