I’ve got this 33 hp 66’ Evinrude ski twin, the prop on it is 10 3/4 x 11 and the other 10 1/2 x 12. I suspect neither is the right one the 10 1/2 is in better shape. Which is better to use? What should I be looking for and where should I be looking for it?
      Thanks
      Seth

It all boils down to the boat and load and what are you going to be using it for. OMC did a fairly good job of installing the best propeller for the average boat the motor was likely to be used on. It came with the 10-1/2 x 12. So that is a good place to start.

Bottom line is try both of them and choose whichever one works best for you and your boat. Or at least it will give you some idea where you need to go from there.

When they came out with the 25 (RD Johnson / Big Twin Evinrude) the standard prop was a 10-3/8" X 12-1/2" prop, part number 277581, When they came out with the 35, they changed it to a 10-3/8" X 13-1/4", part number 277617′. When they came out with the 40 horse model, it had a 10-3/8" x 14" prop, part number 278194. As boats became bigger and heavier, they came out with the 10-1/2" X 11" you have on the left. The prop you need is determined by the boat and load. You want a prop that lets your outboard run wide open in the 4000 to 4750 RPM range. . . 😎

Thanks for the responses. My performance was hard to get a handle on. Had a few other factors at play I’m going to try again tomorrow
