      Were electric starters, either factory or aftermarket, available for 50’s – 60’s OMC outboards under 18 hp,
      particularly 5.5, 7.5 & 10 hp’s?    Availability today? 🤔  TIA

        1956 OMC 15hp had electric start….
        Mercury had a 9.8hp, but they are hard to find…..

          15/18hp models had electric start option in the 50s, but not on 10hp and lower for the OMCs.  The 9.9-15hp models brought out in the 70s had electric start models.
