Has anyone used the product Captain Tolley’s leak repair if so what is your results. Good or bad.
I have a small pressure leak on a 12′ aluminum boat that does not leak when filled with water but leaks when in the water.
Thank You for any product reviews or helpful ideas.

I’ve only used Gluvit (sp?) on seam leaks, which worked good.
No experience on Captain Tolley’s product.

        Prepare to be boarded!

I purchased an aluminum boat a few years ago that had multiple repairs to the bottom with liquid nails. It didn’t leak, but decided to weld it. I tried knocking the liquid nails off with a hammer and chisel, but it didn’t budge. I had to burn that stuff off with a oxy-acetylene torch and wire brush. Underneath I discovered cracks up to 12” long. That stuff is really tough, the boat was previously used to jump over dams in the swamp, and it really held up.

Capt.Tolleys is very thin so it can flow into the seam or crack. When you pierce the applicator tip, make the smallest hole possible. Also keep a damp rag handy to wipe off any runs or drips.
