resisizing pic for avatar

man!!!! this is soooo frustrating. when I try to upload a pic for my avatar, it says it’s too big. I tried to resize it to less than 90×90 and it still says it’s too big. the program it uses to resize is Microsoft office.

how are you guys re-sizing? there has to be a simple way. I am a computer moron so I knew this was gonna suck but this is ridiculous!

help?……please…..

I used paint to resize mine. My problem was trying to get it under 6Kb.
