Just picked up a bunch of outboards and parts today, and in one of the bins was 6 or 7 rowboat motor cylinders. Do people want these? Or are they just scrap? One is labelled Caille something or other, and the rest are unlabelled. They all have surface rust but look decent enough. There was also a Caille transom bracket in the mix as well.

A lot of motors out there with broken/cracked water jackets. Post a picture of these cylinders and most likely someone will need one. Same for the transom clamp.

Agree, don’t scrap any of that. Most of us have at least 1 motor with a cracked jug! I have a 6039 Speeditwin that needs jugs!

It’s saying I don’t have the permissions required to view the pictures… All of mine seem to be Caille though

well, I am curious what you have
                  because…….

That looks like Standard Speeditwin . . .

                    Alternate lower units . . .

About that Vacturi carburetor. Except yours doesn’t have a primer. . .

Since that requires a carburetor adaptor, it may also have the Wico high dome pistons – LOVE those old Speeditwins . . . 😆

Looks like I’ve got a matched set of what are labelled "1925-27 Lightweight Twin 5 speed/ Liberty Twin", another pair labelled "1927 Master Twin 5 speed" but they look to be the same side. The last one I don’t know what it’s for and it’s got a crappy repair at the base. I’ll post a couple pictures later today

I also have a transom bracket that has "Caille 2600" stamped on the underside
