Picked up an A-35 & A-45 parts motors about a month ago.

I need the water tubes for another A-45 I’ve been working on. So today I pulled the carb & water tubes of the A-45 and cleaned the up, easy enough.

I also need to try and salvge the 90deg water fittings from the power head.

Being they’re aluminum I’m thinking they could easily crack or break trying to remove.

Would appreciate hearing back from anyone who has tried removing or replacing these.

        Good morning

I have had mixed results getting the aluminum fittings out of the cast iron cylinders. If your lucky they may not be really socked up.

You can try heat and penetrating  oIL and time. Try working them back and forth to see if they’ll loosen up.
