      There’s an interesting little blip in the service manual : It recommends replacing the needle and inlet seat with one having a smaller orifice, otherwise the pump will force too much fuel into the carb. The suggestion is getting a needle/seat combo for a T’son MD12A. It says the stock orifice is the same size as a #41 drill, while the replacement is a #52 drill. I’d try it first to see if it really floods out….

        Thank you all. I will just find a way to mount the external fuel line so it doesn’t look too “home made”. I’ll then throw some gas in it and see if it runs!
