      My grandfather’s old outboard. Looking for information on year. New here and any input appreciated. Side decal says Scott with checkerboard, starting instruction decal has McCulloch name ,and serial number tag says Firestone. 477-218210 code 133-7-477 ,stock n 10-a-2.

          It’s a ’47 Firestone, built by Scott-Atwater. Or a Scott with a Firestone transom clamp. The tank would/could be off a Scott. That motor was produced for 20 years with only small and mostly cosmetic changes. Which means one could mix-n-match parts pretty much at will.
