      Good morning all
I’m working on a 1941 Sea King model 477, 1hp I picked up recently. I’m down to cleaning the poppet valve carb.
The original cork float has shriveled like a raisen. It looks as though the diameter is 1 inch but I’m not sure on the original the height measurement.
A little help would be great.

I would make the new cork just a little higher than the shriveled up old one.
Usually there’s only 1/4″ or so of float pin travel, so as long as there’s
no interference with the float hitting the top cover or sides, it should work.

        Prepare to be boarded!
