You may already know that it was built by Gale Products for Wards. Made by Gale Model 2W8 For the most part they are very well made engines that run well with just basic service.
Here’s a manual. It might not mention your specific model but if you don’t already have it ….it can be very helpful as many of the Gale built motors share many things in common. You can follow up with specific questions.
