      Working on this sears outboard and noticed two fuel line hook ups on carb .One must be a return line of sort.If so can I just block it off. Number on carb is 390-A8.Thanks Russ..

        I’m not familiar with that model, but back in the 1950’s Wards and Sears had models that could be used with an on-board tank or a tank in the boat. That fuel pump may be for that option. Some one here should know more about it.

          I had a Ted Williams that had the duel fuel supply. Either the on-board tank,
          or turn a valve and hook up a remote tank.

          Prepare to be boarded!
