Guess you got the flywheel off OK, but as Tubs noted, you really shouldn’t use a jaw type puller on the rim of the flywheel. Also, whenever you need to remove the flywheel, leave the flywheel nut installed loosely near the top of the crankshaft threads. That will help prevent the center bolt on the puller from mushrooming the crankshaft threads when you tighten the bolt. And if a flywheel is really stuck, leaving the nut on there loosely will help prevent the whole shebang from flying off when the flywheel finally does break loose.
