      Greetings,

      Trying to help a friend figure out what model engine he has.  We think 1989 .   The plate on Engine Bracket is gone.   All we have is this picture of the Freeze Plug on top of the engine.

      It is 3 cylinder 70hp VRO.

      Any Help appreciated.

                    OK, well someone painted over the cowl decals, so kind of tough to tell.  Later 80s, perhaps a 1990.  There aren’t many changes throughout those years, can you see any part number tags on the carburetors?

                      VRO were introduced in 1984, so that’s the earliest of your probabilities.
