How should I match the paint to original color ? Is there an OMC number that is known ?
Or just maybe take the tank and try and match the unfaded shade on the underside .
      Paint type suggestions ?

The Speeditwin name was used for several years, and the paint color varied with the year. What year or model number do you have?…Then someone can recommend.

Reprotint makes the paint. google it and you should be able to find your paint.

Ok , I assume if I take any aluminum down to bare metal I would need to use self etching primer first . Correct ?
What do you guys use to clean the oil and crud off the motor. I’ve painted a few boats here and there but haven’t painted a motor yet ..
Any special prep work I need to do ?
