      The coils are bad on the Scotty 1.25. (see attached pic). Are these coils available or do I convert it over to OMC coils?
      Please advise. Thank you

          Thank you Mr. Tubs. Looks Like I will be using the OMC coils.
          Also, let me ask you. Did you rebuild the one shown in you post? If so, where did you get the spark plug clips and what tool do you use to crimp the clips?

              Tubs, does great work!!! I enjoy his resto pics and projects 🙂

              Check to see if you have a version magneto has the 5/8″ lamination, if so then the OMC coils are not a quick switch. It can be done with laminate modification. If magneto design uses black plastic covered coils with 7/16″ center lamination. These coils are quite often cracked and may require replacement. The 7/16″ center lamination with accept a 1950s style OMC coil core.
