I have restored and kept running two motors that I am looking to sell/offload.
1954 Evinrude Fastwin. Rebuilt in 1996. Ran every year until 2008. 2009 I skipped 2010 ran for the beginning of the season. Ethanol fuel dislodged stuff that made it no longer run. It has not run since. I was going to restore it and have most of the parts that need replacing. I have the paint, decals, and manuals.
1988 Johnson 9.9. I was enjoying this motor until the fuel pump diaphragm dried out and started an ethanol disaster. I rebuilt the fuel system and it runs again. I am selling this one for $400 or best offer on eBay and OfferUp.
These motors gave me a lot of enjoyment in repairing them. I no longer have the time and energy. I was a member here two other times. I am putting these motors out there for offers. Cheshire, CT is my closest chapter. I could drive/deliver them there.
