      Lloyd,
      I took the carb apart and removed the float and float pin. It was dirty and when gently pushed into the seat it would stick. I cleaned and polished the pin, cleaned and redoped the float and put it back together. The float pin movement was much better. After all was assembled i gassed her up and no leaks. Sea trials on a cold lake scheduyfor tomorrow.

        Mine is brass and i polished like a mirror, problem solved

          Frank,
          I cleaned and polished the brass float pin. Now it seats snd stops the fuel flow. Thank you for your help with this problem

                      that canoe must fly with a 5hp in the back ! I have the identical TN27 in the shed but never got around to using it . needs a bit of cosmetic work but it is ready to go ๐Ÿ™‚
