That’s a Waterwitch air cooled single.

Waterwitch outboards were carried by Sears & Roebuck. Your single dates to the mid 1930s. It was built by Kissel . who were bought out by West Bend Aluminum Products in 1946 and cane out with their Elgin brand for Sears in 1947. The styling was by Raymond Loewy, {who also styled a lot of OMC outboards) so they usually looked better than they ran.. Not that they are really bad – they just have a steep learning curve to learn the quirks to operate them properly.

              Garry:
I am a fan of Robert Lowey designs, (especially Studebaker) and did not know that he styled OMC motors. Do you know what models?
