My father bought a new Dayton chainsaw, 30″ bar, in 1963 and it had the powerbee 6hp engine. Used a lot since then and still has very little cylinder leakdown. Needs crank seals now. Had to wear ear protection when it was in use..no noise reduction on it.

It has spark and compression (haven’t put a gauge to see how much) the manifold on back may have been sucking air.

What is the compression supposed to be?

Sorry it has taken so long to reply, work has been crazy
