      on the discussion board, for each message there is a round symbol to the left with lines in it. Some are moving. what does that mean?

        That’s a good question Jerry so here’s the breakdown for that round icon on the left side.

        If it’s colored red, you haven’t opened it yet or there is an unread reply in the post.

        Blue/grey means it has been read.

        A star being displayed means you have posted in it.

        Scrolling lines means it’s a hot topic with at least 25 or more replies depending on what the board administrator set it to.
