      US Member - 2 Years

      Water pump housing with a chopped drive shaft. Mercury or similar i’m guessing.

        I remember aTV show back when i was growing up, “What’s my line”…..Well what you have there is a, (I think) a cut away portion of a mercury lower unit with the driveshaft shortened and the splines removed. Remove the coverplate with a mercury waterpump spanner wrench to change the impeller. Why it was built is anybody’s guess.
        OK, any other ideas? That’s all i got.
