Trying to place an ad in classifieds and it won’t let me proceed until I enter a valid url. I don’t even know what that is. Why can’t something like that be explained?

In Geek talk, URL stands for ‘Uniform Resource Locator’, an address for a page on the World Wide Web. (WWW) Since we are not computer Geeks, we refer to it more commonly as ‘A Link’. eg: ‘Here’s a link to that video’. Hope that helps!

I’m not sure why the classifieds need you to submit a URL. And to what?

        This one’s for Richard! ☺

And for the main website https://www.aomci.org

Dunno, isn’t that field for people that have a website? Like if you had a website called http://www.opposedtwin.com Otherwise left blank? At least that’s how I see it, but haven’t tried posting yet. Guess I’ll find out, because I have some stuff to sell.

No. It turns out I just entered “www.aomci.org” and that did the trick. Don’t know why it’s there or what the reason is, but my ad went through.
                    Thanks members.
