      Greetings, Can anyone tell me the year of my outboard?

        1949 1.5hp Made by Gale. It is a Gale model 1W5 or 1W10. There is some confusion because there were some overlapping model numbers for 1949. But according to Ward’s system 94GG is a 1949 by reversing the “94” numbers (49=1949). Gale says “A” is a 1W5, and “B” is a 1W10
