      Trying to date this 10 hp powerhead but can’t find a reference guide. Looks like serial number 1260273. Thanks for any help.

        Is there a data plate on the side of the transom clamp? There should be a model number to determine year. The green color indicates it is a 1955 or older.

            Thanks for decoding the serial number. No transom clamp. This head is separated from it’s former shoulders.
