I’m not familiar with the boating term “Tumblehome” stern,
      but it doesn’t sound good.

        TUMBLE

If that CL boat has a Tumblehome Stern….it must be a very mild rendition…..

The popular boat with tumble home is the Feather Craft Vagabond and Ranger. The boat in the CL ad has a bit but not to the barrel back extent. It is a cool, Canadian boat though.

Interesting……. lots of opinions on that site regarding reasoning of “Tumblehome” sterns.
            Thanks!

I don’t think I would call that Eaton you posted a tumblehome stern. The Feathercraft is probably the best example. Also called a barrel back I think.

I collect wood Lyman boats. The 1960 and earlier inboards had that stern. It looks cool. Looking from the back the stern is widest in the middle then necks narrower at the top of stern. Bill,
