      This part looks like the base of a tiller handle and has a cool looking brass locking mechanism. Any idea what motor it might fit?

        Not sure what it is, but maybe you could mount it on a boat to hold a fishing pole!

          mercury auto tranny tiller mount. mark 28 type. for sure.
