      I’ve started a rebuild of a Johnson 10hp 1958 (first time replacing parts for a boat motor) and have found the videos are a great help, thanks! I’m finishing up replacing the coils, condensers and points and I’m not sure where to connect the Stop button leads (2) that are passed through the bottom of the magneto. Do they mount onto the points with the condenser and coil leads?

          Those kill switch wires connect to the points. When you push the stop button one set of points shorts out to the other one. Hope this helps.
