Winter Project Chrysler 6 HP 62HA

I was helping a neighbor get his outboard running and he wound up giving me this outboard as a thank you.  He said it hadn’t been started in many years.  Since I had my tank set up for the other motor, I dropped this in the tank and after about 10 pulls she fired up!!  The pull start was wonky but thanks to Ben Dittmar’s great videos I have been able to get that corrected.

She ran as long as the bowl kept was full, so I think the fuel pump diaphragm has likely hardened up.   Looking up the Model number, it seems this is a 1971 Model.  I looked on Marine Engine and saw that their cut sheets don’t start until 1976 so I want to make sure the parts diagram/part numbers match for this motor.

Second question could someone confirm the shallow water bar is safe to be flipped down/utilized with the highest pin setting at the top of the pin arc.

3rd question the decal for the tilt release is missing could someone provide a photo of what the decal said.

This is my first Chrysler I have worked on so sorry about the newbie questions!
