Hey everyone I posted a wanted to buy add looking for a lower carb bowl ( part number 303493) for a Gale 12S13 I’m working on . The carb I have must have been dropped and is cracked in several places. It still leaks despite my best attempts to jb weld it. I have made calls to salvage yards to no avail and no one has answered my wtb ad at the link below, so I’m wondering since this takes a standard carb rebuild kit (other than the huge needle), are there lower bowls from other omc carbs that would work as a replacement? I had a bowl from a 1960 18 hp that I am also working on that bolted up but am curious if there would be any issues substituting another carbs bowl? I am also wondering if it is not an issue would be best alternative carb bowl to look for?
