      Good morning all
      At the Rocky Hill meet Saturday I was fortunate enough to acquire a model 143 "1929" Evinrude Speeditwin project. In the Old Outboard Book
      It lists the model 143 as being 1929 to 32.
      Can someone tell me what year my motor falls into? The serial number is 0364.

        My best guess is that with a low serial number of 364, your motor would have to be a 1929 or 1930. I know this is not much help but at least it narrows it down some.

          Thanks. That’s exactly what I thought but was wondering if there was a difinitive list somewhere. I’ll say a 29, sounds better 1 year older:-)

            Definitely 1929 – sales were good that year. The crash came at the end of the outboard season. 1930 was a disaster . . . 😀
