YES, I agree! Going to hook up with him as soon as I can. That medallion is one I also need! Thanks to each of the responders-I have followed up with each but find this parts motor the one
      with the most possibilities.

Here is a link to a video of my SD-20 running on Lake Christopher in Maine a few years back. These are a lot of fun to run.

Thank you – actually saw two videos of SD20’s running. Thank you thank you. Looking forward to getting mine running. Still have some more parts to find.

Picked up the parts motor near Juda, Wisconsin yesterday. It looks much better than I imagined – has a good propeller too. For $20, it was a very good buy, and
included a 600+ mile day trip which was very enjoyable. Still have more parts to search for and will check the other source named previously – Dan I believe. Thanks
to each of you. Enjoyed the photos and video = very helpful.

Went to Juda, WI and picked up that parts motor, which is an older SD model, but has several parts that I can use, Fun day trip with over 600
miles. Enjoyed it. Will continue my search for some other parts – will check with Dan, as supplied above. Thanks to all – enjoyed videos and photos.

Although I may utlimately not be able to help, depending on just what is desired, I did send you a private message several days ago.

                    Seasons Greetings,
                    Joe

Thank you for writing. I reviewed your private message when I received it. At the time, it seemed as tho’ you wouldn’t have parts for a motor as old as 1949. It was mentioned, a
recoil assembly for $49.99, and another part also. If I am wrong, please advise.. Seasons greetings to you, and hope your weather in Atlanta has warmed ujp!

                        Hi Errol,

Thank you for your kind reply. It may be true that the only new old stock parts we have at hand for a SD-20 are the two I messaged you about, but as I also commented, we do have a factory parts manual for the SD-20, and it is not impossible that we might have or can source another part or more (we have very long had quite a good number of post WWII to early 1960’s Evinrude or Johnson outboard parts manuals). We are far better with Mercury products, as we were a dealer for 50+ years (our family business was founded 70 years ago in 2021, and has been it’s present incorporated name for 65 years in 33 days and counting down), but we do inventory a selection of OMC parts as well.
Our weather is a little below average right now for this time of the year, but still a nice place to be.

                        Thanks Again,
                        Joe
