      I have had this motor in Canada for approx. fifteen years. I believe it spent most of it’s life in Idaho but I thought I would check to see if anyone out there may know the motor and have any history. Thanks!

        some one put it together from parts. I would not run it with those cast clap and swivel parts. up grade them.to forged ones may save a motor

          That is a Q length tower.

            The Q leg was a special part offered for 15 inch transom runabouts prior to 1954 when only family boats were allowed to race I.E. Feather Craft Fire Fly, after1954 11 inch transoms were allowed and the boats were strictly for racing
