Does anyone know the part number for a 1957 Johnson 35hp?

I show original kit as #439074 which is discontinued. May now be listed as #439075 or Sierra equivalent 18-7024.

One note – the Sierra kit 18-7024 does NOT include a new carb float.

439074 and 439075 should both have cork floats included. I’m pretty sure the main difference is in the length of the sock filter. One is short and one is long.

Mumbles assessment is correct. Only difference is sock filter length.

There are other slight differences in the two kits. The air silencer gasket is missing in the #439075 kit. The price is drastically different (higher) for some reason on the kit with less parts? Go figure!

                    http://www.marineengine.com/parts/image … 439075.jpg $36

If you want to buy the Sierra kit you can buy a later float #382363/18-7210. New type material that stands up to ethanol. The new cork floats are suppose to take ethanol? The new style floats require some modifications.

439074 and 439075 have both been discontinued. A 385356 became 439075. The 777726 777727 is also no more.
