I picked this up today, it’s a 1957 KelsonKraft with a 1957 Johnson 35hp with electric start. It included the electric starting harness, the original Paco trailer, a Evinrude 3hp, the tank, manauls, extra props, and included the titles for both boat and trailer. I payed $500 for everything, which I thought was a steal! Let me know what y’all think about it! Thanks. 😀

Nice looking boat and motors! And at $500, a steal indeed!

What do you know about the builder?

Nice find! Survivor boats and motors are awesome finds. What are your plans for her?

Is there a builders tag that says where it was built?

No, but on the dash there is a spot where it looks like that’s where it would have been.

Congratulations on a nice find and GREAT value. Very complete package that was obviously somebody’s "pride & Joy".
                  Now the real fun begins!

Beautiful! Strange how often people leave off the data plate when working on a boat. Since you have a title maybe you can make up a date plate?

You did great! Those 2 manuals are worth $50 each alone! Make sure to check the impeller on the 35 (as we all should on all motors we get) because this powerhead has pretty thin walls and is prone to overheating. A very nice package! have fun with it!
