I just acquired this boat and am looking to get it upholstered. The best pattern I have is attached. Can someone tell me how the originals were configured? Any recent pics? I’m wondering about the channels. Can someone suggest a shop?

Here’s a start from the catalogs.

I’ve seen the above. It looks like maybe the upright piece has an L shaped piece at the bottom which is inserted first and catches the channel and then the bench itself is inserted at an angle catching the front channel and then forced down and wedged thus applying pressure to the back piece.

Hank, that is a nice boat. I sure warrants a nice original interior… good that you are pursuing that. Too bad that there are not some remnants of the original to go by. Back in that era the small boat companies were sure going after the market with fancy “automotive” styled runabouts. When I did my 1961 Lonestar Malibu there was enough of the original upholstery to go by. Your issue will be finding a shop willing to do the work at a reasonable price. Here is my Malibu, yours will look good too. Get er’ done!
