I see that the original plugs listed were Champion L77J4 ,or AC M49FFX which are not made anymore. My motor when i acquired it has NGK BZ7HS-10. I went to NAPA and had them look up these plugs, they don’t cross-reference to what i got in my motor. Marine Engine has a NGK chart, for 1980-86 OMC 25 hp,use a B9HS-10.
So i will go with that ,unless somebody has had a better experience with a different plug. Anybody have a real favorite for this motor?
EDIT for correct Champion # L77J4 not L77JC4
      Thanks, Jim PSB

Champion L77JC4 is the current replacement for the original L77J4. I use them in all my 1980s era CD ignition OMCs….

Use sparkplugcrossreference.com for plug conversions. I use it all the time. Great resource!
